Run your label.
Not a spreadsheet.
Izwi is the operating system for an independent music label — site, store and fan club, plus the part nobody else builds: contracts, per-track royalty splits, payouts and artist portals.
Most platforms give you a website. Izwi runs the business.
A storefront is the easy 20%. The hard 80% — who's owed what, on which track, after the label cut — is where labels still live in spreadsheets. Izwi does both.
What a website gives you
- — A marketing site
- — A storefront
- — An email list
- — …and a folder of spreadsheets for the rest
What running a label actually needs
- → Contracts registry — masters, schedules, signatures on file
- → Per-track royalty splits with canonical attribution
- → Royalty CSV ingestion + a finance dashboard
- → Artist portals — each act sees its own earnings
Four surfaces. One deploy.
Everything a label needs to face the public, sell to fans, manage its catalogue, and run its books — shipped as one platform on your own domain.
Marketing site + catalogue
A themed site for the label — artists, releases, news, press — with stats that pull live from your own catalogue.
Store + fan club
Digital sales and downloads, newsletter, and recurring fan-club membership — payments via Paddle as merchant of record.
Catalogue CMS
Artist, release and track management with media on object storage. The team edits; the public site refreshes in seconds.
Contracts · splits · royalties · payouts · portals
Import a distributor CSV and Izwi attributes every stream down to per-track splits, resolves compilation appearances to their canonical recording, applies the label cut, and shows each artist their own earnings.
The software your spreadsheets wish they were.
Real surfaces from a running label. Numbers are illustrative — the engine is the same one keeping a live catalogue's books straight.
One source of truth. Every figure here traces back to a signed contract and a per-track split — no reconciliation, no “trust me.”
Four steps to a label that runs itself.
We launch your label
Site, store and fan club go live on your own domain, themed to your brand, backed by your own database.
You import a CSV
Drop in a distributor royalty export — Stem, DistroKid, AWAL, Symphonic and the like all fit the same pipeline.
Izwi does the math
Every stream is attributed to per-track splits, compilation appearances resolve to the canonical recording, and the label cut is applied.
Artists see their own
Each act logs into a read-only portal and sees exactly what it earned — no exports, no email threads, no disputes.
Start with a storefront. Grow into the back office.
One-time build — pay once and own it. Everyone else rents you a subscription or takes a cut of your royalties. We don't.

We didn't theorise this. We ran a real catalogue end to end — the site, the store, and the books — then turned it into a product.

Built to custody money and contracts.
Holding a roster's earnings and agreements is a responsibility we designed for — not an afterthought.
Your own database
Each label gets an isolated database. Your contracts and royalties never share a table with anyone else's — one breach is never everyone's.
Your own domain & brand
It's your site, on your domain, in your colours — not a tenant page on someone's marketplace.
Monthly backups
Automated off-site backups of your catalogue and books, with a documented restore path. Your numbers don't vanish.
Paddle merchant of record
Payments, sales tax and global compliance are handled by Paddle as merchant of record — not paperwork on your desk.
Self-host option
Want total control? Take the build and run it on your own infrastructure. You owe us nothing after that.
You own the build
One-time purchase, no lock-in, no royalty cut. The code that runs your label is yours to keep.
The things every label asks first.
What does “pay once, own it” actually include?+
A one-time build fee gets you a fully configured Izwi deployment — your site, store and (on the Label tier) the full back office — on your own domain and database. There's no required subscription. Hosting and ongoing support are optional add-ons; self-host and you owe nothing further.
How is this different from DistroKid or a website builder?+
Distributors get your music onto DSPs; website builders give you a page. Neither tells you who's owed what after a release goes out. Izwi is the layer above both — it ingests the royalties a distributor reports and runs the contracts, per-track splits, finance and artist payouts that a label actually has to manage.
Which distributors and royalty formats do you support?+
The royalty importer reads the standard Stem-style CSV, which also matches DistroKid, AWAL, CD Baby and Symphonic exports. If your distributor exports something different, the Custom tier covers mapping it.
Can artists see each other's earnings?+
No. The artist portal is strictly read-only and scoped to each act — every artist sees only their own releases, contracts and earnings, never the rest of the roster or the label's totals.
Do I have to let you host it?+
No. You can self-host the build on your own infrastructure at no ongoing cost. Most labels prefer the optional hosting add-on so we keep it patched and updated — but it's your choice, and you can switch later.
Can you migrate my existing catalogue and contracts?+
Yes — that's what the Custom tier is for. We migrate your artists, releases, back catalogue and deal structures from your current setup so you start with your real data, not a blank slate.
I'm a small or brand-new label. Is this overkill?+
Start with Starter — site, store and newsletter — and grow into the back office when you sign your first splits. Same engine; you only turn on what you need, when you need it.
Run your label like a label — not a spreadsheet.
Tell us about your roster and we'll show you Izwi running on your own catalogue.
